The Cut-Over Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of all activities related to preparing and executing the transition from the existing LEW system landscape to the client's target platform, including during the planned test migrations.
The goal of the role is the ongoing development, planning, and oversight of all cut-over activities for test migrations 0 through 3, the dress rehearsal, as well as the Go-Live and the subsequent stabilization phase within the local project, ensuring a controlled, low-risk, and on-schedule transition to the new platform in line with the agreed cut-over plan.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Building, maintaining, and continuously updating the local cut-over concept in close coordination with the central project
- Developing and managing the integrated cut-over plan across all relevant streams and stakeholders
- Coordinating local cut-over activities with the central OneBilling cut-over and migration leads
- Monitoring the necessary readiness criteria for cut-over and Go-Live
- Coordinating all production-related activities ahead of Go-Live
- Building and managing risk management for the transition to the production environment
- Preparing and facilitating relevant Go/No-Go decisions
- Continuous progress tracking and building of appropriate reporting structures
- Reporting to project management (Business Owner and Tech Owner)
