We are looking for an SAP SD Architect to support the design, development, and rollout of group-wide Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes within an international SAP S/4HANA environment.
The role covers the end-to-end O2C process chain, from order entry to invoicing, including the harmonization and stabilization of a central process template and its rollout to additional entities. A key focus is the implementation of country-specific legal and tax requirements, particularly around e-invoicing, using SAP SD together with SAP DRC.
The position involves the functional and technical integration of O2C processes into an existing system landscape. This includes safeguarding SAP SD interface scenarios (EDI, IDoc, and API-based integrations such as REST, SOAP, and OData) as well as analyzing and resolving interface errors to ensure stable operations.
Further responsibilities include the development of core SAP SD objects (order types, copy control, condition technique, partner determination, texts, and output management) and consideration of technical topics such as authentication and security mechanisms and integration via SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
The project runs in an agile setup and requires close coordination across Solution Architecture, Development, Operations, and business stakeholders.
Tasks and Focus Areas
- Designing and ensuring the smooth integration of Order-to-Cash processes along the value chain — from order entry to invoicing — in an agile project environment.
- Responsibility for the functional and technical handling of SD interface processes (e.g., EDI, IDoc, REST, SOAP, OData) in an international SAP environment.
- Coordination and alignment with internal stakeholders, external partners, and development and operations teams at both functional and technical levels.
- Analysis of interface and integration errors, as well as support with troubleshooting and solution definition from a technical perspective.
- Application of fundamental authentication concepts (e.g., OAuth2), certificate management, and CPI-based integration within integration and operations scenarios.
- Contributing to the design and further development of relevant SAP SD objects, including order types, copy control routines, condition tables and access sequences, texts, partner roles, and output management.
- Contributing optimization and innovation approaches, e.g., to simplify existing processes, leverage SAP BTP, or implement modern integration scenarios.
- Close collaboration with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and operations teams within an agile, interdisciplinary project setup.
